I want to record my own music at home. I want to be able to record one thing then listen to it while playing another instrument and record that. I can play all my own music I can play drums, bass and regular guitar and key board and I can sing and I would like to make my own CD any one have any ideas on what I can do I already have all the instruments I just don't have any microphones or recording devices what do you recommend for under 1000 dollars

Parents: Do you ever dance to a song on a commercial in front of your kids just to make them squirm?

I don't know what is being advertised, but there is a commercial on TV that has that song that goes..

My wife and I start doing the "white man" dance to it, and our kids just start gagging and begging us to quit.

What Movie is this scene from?

It is a scene with John Cusack and his role is that of a teenager who is unable to hold down a job. The one scene I remember is where he is working at a burger joint and on his first night there he practically destroys the place. He had a dream that he brought a hamburger to life (like in the frankenstein movie). Does anyone know of this movie.

Any suggestions for appalling pop tracks?

I am compiling a CD of truly awful pop music. So far, I've got "Save Your Love" by Renee and Renato, "D.I.S.C.O." by Ottowan, and "Feels Like I'm In Love" by Kelly Marie.

Any other suggestions gratefully received.
