I have a migraine from my child smashing her big freaking forehead into my cheek bone under my eye last night. I have a nice bruise and probably a hairline fracture. Then my stomach is messed up, and I am loathing being here with my co-workers.

My pick is that damn "Whiskey Lullaby" song. I don't even know who sings it (I don't listen to much country), but it's so horrible, that after you hear it, you just want to jump in front of a semi.

In 1960s, all of a sudden, female characters in TV shows were capable of magic as they were in "Bewitched". Why did the media feel a need to reproduce a certain myth of the past? Why did they also change "evil, devilry, wicked" image of a witch in fairy tales and in history into something "cute, harmless and entertaining" modern witch?How the word "witch" experince a transformation?Also, do you know if Bewitched is the first "magic" sit-com? What other sit-coms with female characters' having magical powers follow it in American TV (apart from "I dream of Jeannie" and more recently "Sabrina, The Female Witch")?What is the message these TV shows trying to deliver?Lastly, from feminist point of view, how could you interpret these witch sit-coms?

not only do i have cottage cheese legs...but i have a lot of bruises often too...so it looks like blueberries..

can you say mmmmmmm!!!????? myhubby likes the fruit cottage cheese combo (ya know that tthey sell in stores), so it works for him...

tell me wat u think abt the way my bf thinks

my friend told me tht der was this guy who wuz engaged n was talkin to his fiancee late at night n he fell asleep while on the phone wid her. she (lives in another state) cud actually hear him snoring n waited 4 a minute n then hung up... next morn she was MAD at her fiancee. the guy took leave from work n flew to where she lived n took her out 4 a movie n lunch jus to make up 4 fallin asleep.

Now i thought this was really sweet n told my bf this story. he instead said tht if he were in tht guys place he wud rethink getting married to tht girl who got mad 4 such a reason n he thought tht tht guy was really sweet to fall asleep talkin to his fiancee(as he might have been really tired) (i say if he was tht tired he cud have jus told her n slept instead of makin her feel unimportant or tht wat she was sayin was boring him. its kinda an insult to the girl)

I cant trust that he will be honest to me & not deal with other girls in ways that are disrespectful to me. Also, he cant trust that I wont snoop to find evidence of these things. After the last time I found proof, I just haven't been able to look at him the same & he just isnt the same guy to me anymore. He's really quick to say "I'm sorry. I was wrong lets just move past this." NO WAY! I'm not just going to accept a 1/2 assed apology b/c if I hadnt found out, the same thing would just be going on right now & I'd have no clue about it. I agree that not respecting his privacy is wrong of me, but apparently my gut feeling is right, because the last time I looked thru his cell, I found texts that were inappropriate- & it's the last straw. I'm done with him & I can't see us working out if we both cant trust one another. I know 2 wrongs dont make a right, but am I justified to snoop if I keep finding proof of his dishonesty? I'd say he's giving me a reason to snoop. Either way, it's over.

A man was sitting on the edge of the bed, observing his wife looking at herself in the mirror. Since her birthday was not far off he asked what she'd like to have for her Birthday. "I'd like to be six again", she replied, still looking in the mirror. On the morning of her Birthday, he arose early, made her a nice big bowl of Lucky Charms, and then took her to Six Flags theme park. What a day! He put her on every ride in the park; the Death Slide, the Wall of Fear, the
Screaming Monster Roller Coaster, everything there was.
Five hours later they staggered out of the theme park. Her head was reeling and her stomach felt upside down. He then took her to a McDonald's where he ordered her a Happy Meal with extra fries and a chocolate shake. Then it was off to a movie, popcorn, a soda pop, and her favorite candy, M&M's. What a fabulous adventure! Finally she wobbled home with her husband and collapsed into bed exhausted. He leaned over his wife with a big smile and
lovingly asked, "Well Dear, what was it like
being six again??"
Her eyes slowly opened and her expression suddenly changed. "I meant my dress size, you dumb a$$!"
The moral of the story: Even when a man is listening, he's going to get it wrong.
