Well, I waded through your spelling (this is not a SMS/IM conversation) and well, I wouldn't wait 4 minutes to confirm that my boyfriend had fallen asleep. I would have hung up the phone and not thought anything about it because when people work hard they fall asleep. It was nice that he was trying to spend that last second with her, but she didn't really have a right to get mad and his flying to see her was really a stupid thing to do. Now she's going to expect him to give in and be excessive for the rest of their relationship.

As a girl, i don't think it was insulting at all. It was sweet that the last thing he did that day was talk to the person he loved the most. If it were me I would have laughed a little bit, whispered "I love you" and hung up the phone, knowing I would talk to him the next day. I think it was selfish on her part to get mad. And although flying out there was a sweet gesture, it makes the girl seem really high maintenace. If she was really angry a simple apology and explanation should have sufficed.

Yeah, don't type like a spastic!
I think it's a sweet way to make up for falling asleep, nobody likes to feel unimportant and be ignored and it must have made the girl feel terrible, so I think it's nice of him to go extra out of his way to make it up to her - she deserved it.
(I'm a guy btw)

where's the problem?he didn't want to tell her that he was sleepy not to make her angry, and fell asleep on the phone.where's the problem>?why did she fight with him?and why did he do all what he did ?he loves her so.it's clear.but i'm afraid she'll make use of this love.or at least she is spoiled.i dunno.but what she did was freak.what if after marriage he came back from work tired and fell asleep while he was talking to her?will she ask for divorce?and did he fly to her out of love?or out of (the dowry)?

I would agree with your assessment that it would be insulting to the girl.
