Why can't people understand that I REALLY don't want to talk about Diabetes Type 1 all the time?

I was diagnosed with Diabetes Type 1 in September of last year. This is Type 1, not Type 2. I have a healthy diet...somehow, all I eat is junkfood, I weigh about 125 lbs, this type is the one you just get. They are'nt sure why yet.

Anyway. Ever since I got it, all people want to do is talk to about they have a history of Diabetes in their family, how scared they are to get it, when did I get it, why did I get, they watch me test my blood sugar, stare in disbelief when I shoot insulin into my arms, then ask me about how many times I shoot it, every last f'in detail. I easily accepted the fact that I had it, I must have shed two tears at the most, but I don't want to hear that word uttered from everyone in my presence. It's like that is all I am to these people. I'm always asked how i'm doing, which I understand, they care.

But what would make them think I want to talk about it? Am I crazy?
