Everyone tells me I've lost mine. I didn't even know I had one.

Throw me a bone here. What the hell is a gourd, and why should I care if I lost it?

But, they seem to think it's important, so I guess I'll look.

I ws young..so details are limited. I remember the main character was a male actor, possibly from australia. and i don't remember his name, but it was very odd. And the movie was about a guy traveling from australia going to america...maybe? i think the end scene was him in a backyard with a tire or something....
i'm not sure, but for some reason the actor reminds me of the guy who played in drop dead fred. but, it's not him.
can anyone help?
