I ws young..so details are limited. I remember the main character was a male actor, possibly from australia. and i don't remember his name, but it was very odd. And the movie was about a guy traveling from australia going to america...maybe? i think the end scene was him in a backyard with a tire or something....
i'm not sure, but for some reason the actor reminds me of the guy who played in drop dead fred. but, it's not him.
can anyone help?

Thanks Harbinger! That was indeed the movie. I don't remember that being the title...but I know now that you say the actor's name is "Yahoo Serious"

You may be thinking of the 1988 movie Young Einstein with Australian actor Yahoo Serious.
