I've been getting their catalogs for several years and I go to their website all the time, but I've never actually played one of their guitars. If anyone has, I'd really like to know what you think about them. I've been considering buying one of them, either a DC400 or a California Carved Top. I play many different styles of music, but I really want something that can handle hard rock. I've played a Schecter guitar that had Seymour Duncan pickups, and I liked their sound. I don't like pickups with a really harsh sound. I prefer pickups that are more responsive and smooth. Also, if anyone could tell me what the difference is (soundwise) between the Carvin C series and M series pickups, I would greatly appreciate it.
