I have always loved that movie. There is no better friend than Fred. He is there when he is needed and impossible to get rid of when unwanted, he is the worst and best thing to happen to Lizzie (Cates). Rik Mayall is the perfect imaginary friend and his comic timing is impeccable. The story is both hilarious and heartbreaking.

Yeah, my favorite scene is when Phoebe Cates character was in the restaurant, and "Drop Dead Fred" is making her spill her drink on herself. I also like how he calls her snotface all thrue the movie.

yes, no. Would've liked it better if Phoebe Cates showed her boobies like in Fast Times at Ridgemont High
