I went to the blacksmith on sunday and he was closed, however I located him, and asked him if he would shoe my horse.
seeing as though it's sunday he replied I will do it for you but I will have to charge you quite a bit, ok I said how much do you want.
he said I want 1 penny (cent) for the first nail and 2 pennys for the second nail and 4 pennies for the third nail 8 for the fourth and so on, the cost of each nail doubled to the last nail
I thought for a second, ok 7 nails in each shoe, and there are 4 shoes it seemed ok, and I needed it done so I agreed.

How much was his bill going to cost me?

I'm old school and I see that a lot of music was good back then a lot of it is good now. The only difference in my opinion is the quantity of good music out back then compared to nowadays. Everybody was in harmony back then so you'd go get 5 records and the next week you'd be buying 5 more records. Old school people know what I'm talking about. I used to love Sister Sledge, Pointer Sisters, Nancy Wilson, Diana Ross and the Supremes, Miles Davis, Teddy Pendegrass, Barry White, Marvin Gaye, Earth, Wind, and Fire, and the Spinners, etc. all on records. Even White groups were good too, Eagles, Chicago, Journey, The Police, Bee Gees, Elton John, George Michael, K.C. and the Sunshine Band, etc. Old School people no matter what race we all were listening to good music like never before! I remember those days man! Brings back memories! Music is still good, but it's not that much in quality and depth as back then. Anybody feel the same?
