Lose weight.
Breathe-Right Strips
Breathe-Right spray

But I suggest all 3. My boyfriend was better with both the spray and the strip.

You might have sleep apnea and NEED A DOCTOR, actually.

Sleep apnea is accompanied by daytime sleepiness that can cause car crashes and can also trigger heart attacks in susceptible people. Otherwise it dooms people to diminished brain productivity due to lost sleep.

Normal sleep: You sleep, you breathe in, out, brain gets plenty of oxygen, you wake up, you're refreshed

Sleep apnea: a. obstructive
You sleep, but your airway (usually throat) collapses (muscular weakness fat I dunno) and blocks your airway. You fight to breathe, your heart rate shoots up, but nothing happens until you fall out of REM sleep, unconsciously awaken with a jolt, and catch your breath, and start the process all over again. You never get uninterrupted REM sleep and so you are a poor driver, poor student, poor employee and prone to catch a nap whenever you can (are not heightened aroused). The nighttime jolts could trigger the heart attack.

b. central nervous system: your brain might not be able to tell your lungs to breathe.

Solution:

Often, a respiratory device (Continuous Positive Airway Pressure, the nasal mask, or Bi Positive Airway Pressure through your mouth and nose).

a. Your airway cannot collapse because of all the ordinary room air going through it. My pressure setting is 18.0 H2O. Obesity usually exacerbates obstructive sleep apnea but full weight loss does not cure it totally.

b. the machine may have room air or pure oxygen under pressure to help you deal with lapses with respiration.

Snoring home remedies. LOSE WEIGHT, if you are obese. That's number one. Make sure the air in your bedroom is moist, get a humidifier. Try using those breath-right nasal strips. Sleep on you side only by wearing a nightshirt and put a clothes pin on the back of the shirt, so, when you roll over in the middle of the night, it's uncomfortable, and you roll back on your side. Good luck
