I use red wine, orange juice, cider, sugar, cinnamon sticks, a bit of grated nutmeg , cloves and orange slices. Sounds a lot of different ingredients, but it's lovely!

Good wines work best. Inferior wines make the punch less tasty. You can add fruits and fruit juices for a sweeter taste. And, if you like them bubbly, add carbonated beverages.
