Four days and Four Pairs of Pants?!?!?!? You gotta be kidding me?
I went 21 days in New Mexico with 1 pair of hiking shorts and 1 pair of Carhartt bib coveralls.
Four pair.....I'm calling Shenanigans on that!
Get a pair of Carhartt's and just wear them for four days. Clean clothes are overrated. Bring a pair of jeans as a back-up or fleece pants for hanging out in at night. The Carhartt's will be good if you are kneeling in the dirt or climbing around over dead trees in the woods.
Just wash them a few times first, run them over with your car, and throw rocks at them for a few days to break them in before camp...otherwise you look like a choad who just bought a new pair of Carhartt's for camp and everyone will know you are a poser.
If no one else is wearing them...even better...it'll show you are a trendsetter at your Science camp.

You could go to a Sporting Goods store and buy a couple pairs of hiking type pants. Military style with extra pockets and re-enforced knees. I guess you'll be outdoors and digging or going threw brush. If you have the funds Northface has a big selection but I would say save your money if it's just a four day camping trip. The camping section should have a variety of brands and prices. Save your jeans!!

I like cargo pants for all the pockets to carry stuff. Maybe bring one pair of jeans and just be careful, you probably won't ruin them anyway. You can go to a cheap store to find inexpensive cargo pants, or you can always go to a local Goodwill / Salvation Army store and buy some used pants for a few bucks. I'm sure you can dig up at least a few pairs of old pants, any kind that you don't wear anymore. It really doesn't matter when it comes down to it what kind they are.

RE:
What are good pants to wear while camping?
I'm going to science camp with my school. We stay there for four days and the list of stuff I need says I need four pairs of pants. But all my pants are nice jeans. Should I wear my jeans? They might get dirty and I'll have to replace them (for $66.00). Or I could buy four pairs of...

If you are really camping then you only need one pair of pants for 4 days. Especially if you have to hike your gear in you wouldn't want to carry so many clothes. Get a pair of decent cargo pants. Very versatile and they hold up great. If it's going to be cold, make sure there is room for a pair of thermals to be worn comfortably under your pants.

Congratulations on getting outside for camp! As far as pants and clothing in general goes, there are a couple of things to cosider:
1. Most importantly, there's an old saying among outdoor enthusiasts: cotton kills. When dry, cotton jeans are very comfortable but when they get wet, they stay wet. A pair of blue jeans can weigh as much as 15 pounds when saturated. What's worse is that when they get wet (any time it rains or snows) they also draw heat away from your body. (I like the REI sahara pant, it wicks moisture, and converts to shorts if it's really warm: http://www.rei.com/search?vcat=REI_SEARCH&query=sahara+pant)
2. At most science camps, you don't spend a lot of time outside. What are most of your friends bringing? Now, just because your friends may be bringing jeans doesn't make it the best choice. If all of your friends only bring jeans and they get wet they'll be miserable, but if you spend most or all of your time inside cabins, wouldn't you rather wear a style that you're comfortable with around your friends? I most definitely wouldn't take jeans with me when I go camping in a tent, but I do wear them in cabins. Even if they do get dirty, the dirt WILL wash out (it's not like most stains).
My suggestion (you alone can decide) would be a compromise: bring two pairs of each. 2 pairs of nylon (or NOT COTTON) pants (available at REI, Cabellas, even army surplus or discount stores), and two pairs of jeans that you wouldn't mind getting a little dirty. When you spend a lot of time outside, wear the non-cotton pants. If you have a lot of time inside hanging out with friends, wear what you feel like.

Go to Campmor and get convertible pants, they are perfect for the warmer three seasons. During the winter just wear long johns underneath. Campmor brand may not be the best, but will last a few years with moderate use.
I concur with the cotton, when wet it is a sure fire way to get hyperthermia. The synthetics dry much faster and wear more comfortably. The military uses cotton because it is better at flame-retardants. The synthetics are prone to getting little burn holes from campfire sparks, if you sit to close. Synthetics are now banned for use on patrols for our troops overseas. Here back home, it is the best thing since MRS whisper light stove for camping.

Ditto on the nylon convertable pants. Try to stay away from cotton if you have a chance of it being cold and or wet (especially both). Wet cotton will act like a wick and suck the heat out of you darn fast.
Nylon convertable pants arn't warm per say, but they dry very fast. You can also make them pants or shorts. I'd look for a surplus pair of wool or lite wool pants (cargo style is good).

Wool will keep you insulated when wet and a lite pair will be remarkably cool too in the heat (old bicycling jerseys were wool).

i laughed when i read this question. science camp isn't camping. Personally i wear my jeans when i go camping but it sounds like you want zip offs, just go to academy and tell em you want some zip off pant and they should be able to hook you up w/ some for 20 bucks or if you want to pay a lot of money, but have an unconditional money back guarantee, go to REI.
