Yes--though the chances are highly unlikely. You can get AIDS from an infected person's blood into your blood, such as by transfusion, though they screen the donors well enough that this should not be a concern. However, for instance, if you have an open cut and an HIV infected, drug-crazed transvestite that you are beating down gets their blood into your cut, then you may get infected...Also by sharing needles with an infected person is a possible way to contract HIV.

You mean HIV? Yes through oral sex, sharing needles, mother to child and blood transfusions although this is highly unlikely now. As for fighting etc this is rare for HIV doesn't live outside the body, yeah so pretty impossible.
Just make sure you have safe sex and keep away from sharing needles. All the best

Yes you can get AIDS without having sex. It can be transmitted by blood or bodily fluids. The blood or bodily fluids (eg. semen, vaginal fluid etc) of an infected person would have to get into your blood stream. This would happen if you had an open cut and their blood or bodily fluid got into your open wound. Also during oral sex, you could have little cuts in your mouth that you don't know about from brushing your teeth. The vaginal fluids or semen from an infected person could get into one of the tiny cuts in your mouth and you could be infected that way.
Also of course, blood transfusions, organ donation etc. if the donor had HIV/AIDS as well as sharing dirty needles..

Yes, you can, but sex is the easiest and most common method of transmission.
For example, it is possible to catch almost anything via a blood transfusion, if the donor was not appropriately screened and the blood bank screws up the test results.

yes, you can ... old old old people are getting it from blood transfusions, or someone with infected blood on them and transfers it to an open cut or something the body somewhere.
not a stupid question.
if you are in doubt you can call any emergency room and ask questions they do not have to know who you are. or call ask a nurse in your state. same thing they do not need to know who you are .... be safe
