It’s not going to be the last time you eat something with meat in it. It’s going to happen from time to time, a lot of times you’ll see something that you think is vegetarian only to find out it has some type of meat in it, in some form.

What you do is don’t eat it again and get on with life. You’re doing the best you can.

OK now look in the mirror and say “I’ll do my best today.” After all that the most you can expect from yourself.

Don't feel too bad. There's a lot of misinformation out there. And this is why it so pisses me off when people who eat fish call themselves vegetarians. Not only does it confuse matters for folks like me--who don't touch the stuff--but it confuses people who want to do right and eat vegetarian. We all make mistakes; the key is to learn from them so we don't do them again.

Don't feel guilty! - its not like you signed a contract lol

at the end of the day, you can eat what you want. All the meat that you didn't eat, meaning you didn't give money to the industry is still good.

Just carry on not eating meat/fish ( or if you want to be Pescatarain , eating only fish, go for that).

Every little helps.

Try not to be too hard on yourself... everyone makes mistakes as they transition to a new diet. Now that you know fish isn't vegetarian, you can make your diet even more animal-friendly and keep moving in the right direction. Good luck!

Don't feel guilty. No harm done, really, you just learned something new, so actually it's a blessing in disguise. Anytime you learn from a mistake it's a blessing in disguise. Just don't repeat the same mistake. Take care.

I'm a true vegan, but I can tell you that it is OK for vegetarians to eat fish. Some vegetarians don't, but that is just a half-way commitment because they don't have what it takes to become vegans. So yeah, vegetarians can eat whatever they want. If you want to do something for the world, the animals and yourself, go vegan.
