Scientists make cars that run on water.
Certain company frotment buy up their patents and very soon offers them vast sums of money to stop experimenting and publicizing their plans.
Suddenly there are MIB, death threats to family, or they vanish without a trace.

When will people wake up to the reality of the world we are living in. The oceans are the worlds biggest reserve of untapped energy. Go figure

So...

...Do you have any "stuff" to back up your claims? Because I've never even heard of a car that runs on water...

Sure, I've heard of the theory - that you could split the water molecule and get the hydrogen & oxygen, and then burn the hydrogen as the fuel - with nothing but water vapor as the emissions, but it's a theory and not a reality.

The reality is that it takes more energy to split the water molecule to produce hydrogen and oxygen, than burning the hydrogen yields... So the theoretical water-powered car is just that: A theory...

UNLESS...you can show that a water-powered vehicle is not only viable, but a reality...

As for the oceans being huge reserves of untapped energy: Yes, there needs to be further study to find a way to efficiently harness the potential energy from the wave/tidal actions.

People will never wake up to whats really going on behind the scenes. The people in charge will make sure of that. The trick is not to worry or care about it because there is absolutely nothing you can do to change it so go with the flow. Cover you bets by buying stock in the huge energy corporations and the gasoline company's. I agree with the energy yet to be tapped in the sea, also the food that could be harvested from the sea. Methane gas which is a by product of our sew treatment plants, and our land fills, is going to waste and is a cheap clean effective source of power but isn't even mentioned by most energy people wander why could it be there isn't any money to be made?????

Good Luck

Your statement is absolute hog wash. You would have to believe that all the great Engineers and Scientists all over the world have been bought off. Ridiculous.

There are countries all over the world with great education systems and money that have been in energy crisis long before the U.S. They have nothing to do with our Patents. I guess you just think they are all stupid.

It was just yesterday that someone else came up with the stupid statement that engines can run on water. I'll say some of what I said yesterday. Energy requires heat (or light). Have you tried to set water on fire recently??? Come on, people, use your brains.
And, on a related subject, Wayne T. (above) says that Europeans and Asians can buy cars that get high gas mileage. Well, Duh! They pay $6 to $9 per gallon for gasoline, so they want cars that get good mileage. You can't sell them in the US because no one sees the need to conserve. Who set the prices of gas at $6 to $9? Their governments.

The world's cleanest running car coming out next year will be using compressed air and cheaper than the hydrogen run car.

you carnt run a car on water, it just dosent contain enough energy. you can use water as a source of hydrogen by adding active metals which liberate hydrogen from the water which you can use in a fuel cell but you still are not running the car on water.

The oceans contain massive amounts of pure hydrogen. Once we develope nuclear fusion technology, then we have the ultimate power source.

Do you have any real proof to support your claims? For example, can you reference any of these supposed patents? You do know don't you that patents are public documents that anyone can access?
