I agree with John Paul. For those who believe in hell, (Primoa) would hell not be eternal separation from God????
John Paul isn't saying that hell is not real.
(Think outside the box, Primoa...)

I do like our new pope. He relatively is conscious his theology, and is so heat-hearted. I ought to assert although, i grew to become into an exceptionally enormous fan of JPII. As for lacking him, no no longer precisely, on account that as a Catholic I comprehend that we are all a ingredient of the Communion of Saints and that even dying in no way relatively separates us from those we like. Our loved pope has joined that invisible cloud of witnesses and that i will experience him cheering us on.

The only hell I believe in is, Separation from God. I had come to this conclusion many years ago on my own.
I have never heard the words you quote here before, I am
pleased to read them.
Yes, I do believe we make our own hell by seperation from God. Through my own life experience.

I like Catholic doctrine on hell.
No one really knows what hell is like. It has been described by people who have not been there as everything from flames to a frozen lake (Dante).
What we do know is that hell is the state of complete and final self-exclusion from communion with God and the blessed, reserved for those who refuse by their own free choice to believe and be converted from sin, even to the end of their lives
I like to think of it this way. The only way a person will go to hell is if they want to.
God in His (or Her) unlimited love has given us free will to choose. Our most important choice is to freely decide to accept or reject God's constant offer of spending eternity with Him in heaven. God will respect the choice to reject Him.
For more information, see the Catechism of the Catholic Church, sections 1033-1037: http://www.usccb.org/catechism/text/pt1sect2chpt3art12.htm#1033
With love in Christ.

i think the pope is right. if someone sins they can either go back to god and be forgiven, or choose to go away from god and that would result in them in "hell". i'm not sure if it's a place or not, but i don't believe god sends people to hell. i think people decide whether they go there or not by their actions. but they always have the opportunity to make it up to god and be forgiven if they wish

hell is where you end up when you give all you have to the pope ,priests &.pastors and not the needy. Not when you die,if hell was a real place people would have escaped already likewise if heaven was a real place Bush would have broken in and stole the gold streets

Religion attempts to talk you in to a non-existing problem then will sell their solution to this non-problem. Hell is as imaginary as all gods, it is just an other scare tactic.

Originally there was a pagan goddess (Hel?) who was linked to the place of the dead. Christianity later on 'demonised' this pagan concept and named it 'Hell' after the goddess' name.
