i mean people might say that i'm just young but i mean it's difficult you know, highschool, and i see all my friends with either boyfriends or admirers and i have never heard of any guy liking me or even close to having a boyfriend. to the guys i just seem like a friend, never more. is it that i am just ugly? picture provided.
i know it's pretty lame to turn to the net for life's answers, but well no one else would answer me.

First of all, realize that in a few short years you'll see what childish nonsense the social politics of high school are. And as for having a boyfriend, sure it would be nice to get the encouragement of having someone feel you're attractive, but be realistic about what you're supposed to be focusing on at this point in your life; you're supposed to be getting an education first and foremost so you can make the most of life later on. Don't distract yourself with obsessing over finding a boyfriend. Part of the problem might be just that you're surrounded by boys who are too immature to see you accurately. Think about this phrase guys used to say 15 years ago when I was in college:"high school hot or college sweet?", which means "Do you prefer one of those superficially hot (but ultimately kind of slutty) girls who are the standard of beauty for guys in high school or one of those modest, pretty, dignified girls you meet in college who really have more beauty (both inside and outside, actually) even though they don't try to get every guy's attention by parading around like a Vegas prostitute?" Every intelligent guy I was friends with in college chose "college sweet". You look like that type. Be patient, and just try to be the kind of smart, humble, thoughtful girl that decent guys are attracted to. It will happen for you in time I'm sure.
For what it's worth, I work in East Asia, and I can definitely say from your picture that you're prettier than 80% of the women I see around me here. Don't doubt yourself.

you aren't being lame. Life is hard but it does get easier especially when it comes to boyfriends. I felt very ugly and awkward in high school and didn't go on my first date until I was 20!!! I am 30 now and in the last 10 years have been on alot of dates and finally met the woman I am going to marry so don't worry about the others, your time will come I promise you.

Its just life... I was in the same situation as u in high school... ALL of my closest friends had boyfriends... But I didn't go looking for love, romance or whatever... maybe i friends did... But once I got into college... I got asked out my plenty of guys... Cute ones, *******, etc etc... Its hard being in a relationship this young... Its good that u are single... Enjoy it... Don't worry... This does NOT mean u are ugly or anything.... Consider urself lucky!!! Btw: u look really cute... :) Cheers!!

You are very cute and I am sure there is more than one boy who has a secret crush on you. Don't be too quick to find a boyfriend because relationships can be a hassle - so make sure you find someone worth the trouble.

yea ur cute but yea its just life u know during my first years at highschool and most of it and now yea i never really heard of girls liking me but they actually did and do ha i guess its just the way things are sumtimes it might just be how people see u i guess girls see me as mysterious from wat i hear and with my good looks :] i guess i made them nervous or intimidated so they never really went about telling oh she likes u and stuff i did actually get letters in my folder from a girl it surprises me to this day how it got there without me noticing but yea just wait the time does come and u need to open ur eyes and ears more to these kinds of things ull be surprised
and also notice who likes u and stuff
