Should it be recognized as either an official separate language or a minority language ? Should people still teach it to their children or should they teach common dutch instead ?

minority language. yes teach it to the children. common dutch is for the radio / television and other official news sources.

It's normal that people like their native dialect.
I certainly do like mine.
It's good parents speak it with their children.
It's O.K. with me that I don't understand most of this clip.
The performers won't be able to understand my dialect from the north of The Netherlands.
In Flemish Belgium and in the Netherlands everybody learns the official Standard-Dutch. So we communicate easily.
I like regional diversity in culture and dialect. Anyway it is going to stay.
