Indira Gandhi herself and both her sons died of unnatural causes. Father Z A Bhutto, daughter Benazir and her two brothers met similar fate. These are just two known cases. But media reports frequently of fate playing wild in the life of common men too. I do not believe in fate, but I am aghast at these most tragic happenings. While a few terrorists rejoice nations weep.

Leave aside the individual cases for a moment. Karma is the right word to explain the events of life. Karma is what comes to you as a sequel to your past actions. The birth you take, the family you are born in, the parents and other relations that accrue to you are all determined by the karma of the past. The life is an opportunity for you to work out the karma. There is no such thing as reward or punishment in this concept of karma. You work out or live through the consequences of your past actions. Death in itself is not a punishment. You change the body. The spirit within you will be liberated or you are stated to have attained 'moksha', once the Real Self within you is divested of all your karma. Till then, it will remain encoiled in the cycle of birth and birth. Gandhi would always advise the bereaved not to be unduly saddened by the death of dear ones. He truly believed that they had gone off, as if they had departed to some farther place.

It is not fate but our own karma. Mrs. Bhutto knew very well what could happen and she took the risk. Indira Gandhi antagonised Sikh community and paid the price. Everybody has to pay for his decisions.

Men create fate, sometimes helped by God. Men also commit murder and assassination for whatever cause they consider right. The assassination of Indira Gandhi and those close to her was the result of sick men who thought they could change history with the release of a bullet. This never works.

I don't know that fate had anything to do with it. When you make waves, some people will not be happy. The interesting thing is that it is more likely to be assasinated for trying to do something good. Think of JFK. He did many things he might well have been killed for, but he was killed for daring to attempt a righteous action.

Throughout time, God's people have been laughed at, mocked, spit on, tortured, and killed by the evils that rule or have ruled. Blessed will be the day of God's Kingdom!

Everything is predestined, whether you like it or not.

If a man has to die,he will die at that moment and if he has to become famous ,he will be.

This is 100% true.
