not citizenship. e.g i'm a citizen of Singapore but a permanent resident of Canada not citizen of Canada
not nationality. it means the state of being legally a citizen of a particular country. e.g. in this case Singaporean.

The correct term would be "Residency".
Don't know why I got a thumbs down...this really is the correct term.

you are a canadian of singaporian descent . you only use singaporian descent if applicable. you have been adopted by that country. so i think you can proudly be canadian
