Nearly all viruses, bacteria and dieseases can be passed via blood. If he has cuts, bleeding gums or ulcers in his mouth then there is a possibility he can catch anything thats in your blood that you might not know about.
Risks to the Drinker:
Iron overdose, toxic porphyria, bloody stools, stomach upsets, hepatitis. Also note: blood cannot be digested.
Also as you probably know the secondary function of your menstration is to clean your vagina, the blood that comes out can smell bad and contain a plethora harmful bacteria, organisms and waste secretions. Drinking this blood is not the healthiest thing to do.
For the last word, consult your doctor.
P.S. Your husband might have a vampire fetish, i also suggest you research on that if anything to protect yourself and understand the topic of consuming blood much better.

Hubby likes the vampire thing, eh?
Menstrual blood is different than normal blood due to hormones being released, causing the lining of the uterus to shed.
I live in a hick town, and the old timers call that "red wings"...ewww!
No worries, hubby isn't out of the norm...other folks do it also.

Blood is mainly protein so there really isn't any hearth issue to it if you are disease free. It just seems mighty weird and discusting!
