Other than the "blaming God" part you sound just like me and I am Christian.
I would actually say you sound Gnostic Christian. They view the god of the Old Test. as evil, and when Jesus came he served as a light to the one true god, Emanuel, not the Old Test one.
So basically there is the vengeful jealous God whom is an oppressor, and the true loving forgiving god whom Jesus represents, that is the "good God" who can free you from this wretched world controlled by the "Bad God".

Ok here's what I think:
You said you were born and raised a Roman Catholic. But since you think all these sins are acceptable, I would say you are lost in Religion. You believe in the main things, like God and hell and heaven. Sometimes the human mind carries us to a point where you don't care about anything and you just believe whatever you want to. You get let's say 'extra-free' which is wrong. God put us on this earth to be free, but we should never forget the Day of Judgement or the sins. Get some books, read and remind yourself of your religion. Talk to a priest, but always rememeber this: You have to be 100% sure that your religion is the true one. If you feel that it's not very true, find a new one. I don't know how many thumbs-down I'm going to get for saying this, but I'm saying it for you. Honest. Because Religion is the one thing that will stay with you all your life. Because of this, be sure you have the right one and believe in it 100% and accept it the way it is.
Good-Luck

why do you have to assume you need to exactly follow these few religions, these -isms. you will listen to these beliefs that your faith is in a catagory. I don't suggest you form your own religion. Maybe you should try not having religion. Not every human is the same, which suprises me, How can their be millions of people who follow the same faith and nothing contrary to it, that is like asexual reproduction. No variation. Some things you say are twisting what christians believe and what your beliefs. You don't exactly need religion, we all are already aware of what is morality in our society. Don't be part of an -ism. You are not able to position yourself in any religion. Anyone has slight doubts but choose whichever religion is closest. Religion is stopping you. you are confused now, it is burdening you from accepting life. You have to let go of it. I am not suggesting you become a crazy rebel and do whatever you want, I suggest you to not freeze reality into something basic, needing a religion?, because reality is not basic Why do you need religion. it does not always stop people from choosing destructive acts. There is a difference of thinking of it and choosing. Religion only changes your thinking, when it is choosing time, it does not matter if you have religion or if you didn't intend it. if it happens, it happens. that's reality. You are that person who will always encounter this problem. No one, not even you can truly change that. the only to change that is fooling yourself. I think you should try to relax, observe this question as only a question, don't add on to it, and let the desire to answer it disappear. Good luck

You were not born a Roman Catholic, you were born an atheist. A theist is a person who believes there is a god. An atheist is a person who is not a theist. You were not born with god belief.
You have made up your own religion, just like all the Christians after the Dark Ages (except maybe Fred Phelps) have been doing. You seem to have strayed completely away from Christianity and made up your own religion. Your beliefs are still just as unfounded as Christianity, which has not a shred of evidence as to it's validity...that why it's called faith. Faith is an admission that you lack evidence, if you had evidence you wouldn't need faith.

You are still a catholic but not a strong believer of it. You believe that one should live their life to the full and make the most of it and I agree with that as well (I am a catholic too). We have been hurt in the past and think why should everyone else go through this pain, sod religions, some religious people are more sinners than we are

It sounds more like you're very confused and have no religion at all. If I was you I'd sit down and think long and hard about what you believe, and what you don't. People don't just go out and claim a religious title out of the blue, religion and belief systems take thought and careful consideration. You don't just wake up one day and decide that you're going to be this religion or that religion or you don't believe in this or that view. It takes time for you to come to these conclusions, just like it took you time to come to the conclusions you presented us with. Quit asking for a religious title, it's not up to us to decide what religion you are because you're confused. Do a little more thinking on the matter, and I think your answer will be quite apparent to you.

Well, there's a good tradition of railing against God (the person you blame) in Judaism, and Reform, Reconstructionist and other modern forms of Judaism are entirely happy with the views you express about human sexuality etc. But of course, if you 'believe' in Jesus, that would close off that route.
But the first question really is - why are you wanting a religion? If you are wanting a religion in ways that are congruent with Christianity, Judaism wouldn't suit you at all. It is an entirely different approach.

I totally understand what you mean, I am just like you and a lot of people I know are like that as well. I am no one's expectation but my own. I do not see life as right or wrong, black or white as most people do. There are many things in life that dictates our outlook, the major one being how we were socialized. I believe in my conscience, if it makes me happy without harming others then I am going to do it. I live my life based on my own conscience and expectations for myself. Some people would like to force you to conform to their expectations, but if you focus on being them, who is going to be you.
I was brought up in the Anglican church but I have realized that a lot of people go to church to worship the congregation and the church building. Everyone is so focused on what the other person is doing that they forget about God. This is why I am who I am, a spiritual being, whose focus is solely to create a personal relationship with God.

First of all - you believe in God. Not god.
For sure you don't believe in spell check.
Most of all - religion is a construct of man to offer Praise and Worship to God. YOU are not any religion.
Lutheran is a religion.
Catholic is a religion.
Hindu is a religion.
Methodist is a religion...........shall I go on?
You were not BORN Roman Catholic.
You were born a child of God and all He wants is your faith. Find a "religion" that suits your way to love God and stand on faith that you can "run the race" that He calls you to.

Toshahasharian. Google it, you will feel like you have arrived home after a long journey in the hot sun with no water and you almost died but then you received water just in time and you were able to make it to the hospital so you could be treated for dehydration and then you didn't have to go to work for 3 days because you had a DR.'s note. Good luck in your religious travels my friend!
