Apologize to your friend for being inconsiderate of her feelings. Then, find a different guy, he doesn't sound like he's worth losing your best friend over.

Go back and apologize to your girlfriend at once and forget the guy you want to get with. If you want any man to be part of your life, then he has to respect you and your friends. If he has a problem with anyone who isn't white or looks like him, then there is an excellent chance that he won't respect your friend.
Value your friendships over some guy. Let's assume that you get with Mr. David Dukes and it doesn't work out long term. What did you accomplish in the end besides alienate your best friend? Boyfriends/Girlfriends come and go, but friends should be there for life. You having good friends around when you have no guy in your life at the moment takes precedence.

Been there, done that.
I would first consider his racism as a serious character flaw and decide whether or not you really want to be with a guy like that. Your friend needs to know you're sorry for the words you said out of line. This guy sounds like a loser, sorry, but racism has no place in this day and age when it's more important to try to get along and accept eachothers differences. You have so many other intelligent guys to ask out on a date.

Brings back a memory...I am White and went on a date with a friend's cousin. She was bright, attractive, quite cute. We went to a restaurant on this first date, and she spotted a Black couple across the dining area and said, "Damn, I just hate ni**ers!" As my heart sunk, I asked her if she was serious. She was! To make a long story short, we finished the date, I took her home and never called her back. How could I ever be interested in, let alone, fall in love with someone who harbored such hatred..especially towards people due solely on their race. I never had an ounce of regrets. I had Black friends at the time, and she wasn't worth their company to be honest with you! I was not about to subject them to her noise and neither should you! Good luck!

umm wow some friend you are...getting mad at your best friend because she was justifiably upset at your ignorantly racist boyfriend...imagine how she must feel. She has to go through life being a minority already facing many issues, and her best friend can't even stand up and be there for her?? I wonder how lonely she must feel. People like you are the reason why racism is still around. It's up to people like us that do not face discrimination and are not racist to try and change those who are. To stand up for those who are facing racism and help them where we can. Obviously in your situation, you can but you chose not to for some guy. I'm sorry but that's just pathetic..

No, some all of us is mushy to that, now and back with the aid of fact they have heard better than that stated. a chum informed me she wasn't attracted to Black adult males with the aid of fact she concept they have been dumb. We have been acquaintances not extra after that. I purely did no longer sense the comparable way approximately her after that. If she could have stopped the sentence after Black adult males i could have been positive. I in no way grow to be attracted to courting white adult males and married a black male. i'm no longer racist...that doesn't make you racist the two :)

Your best friend eh. You dogged your best friend for some piece of **** racist guy. Wow. I don't know what kind of friend you are, but if I were her, I'd be finished with you. What a rotten thing to do to a friend.

If he is over 14 he will always have this bias.
You need to support your friend when she tells him his behavior is unacceptable.
