Hi,
I am a party photographer so i have to stand long durations as I have to move around the event to capture snaps. Lately I have been noticing that after some time into the event my lower back starts aching which if ignored turns into quite severe situation for me. Interestingly if I sit down on a chair with straight back the pain goes away gradualy. I dont take pain killer as I want to eliminate the problem at the root rather supress it. I have been taking care of my back well before this started by using back support with my office chair. Any help would be appreciated.

There are a number of possibilities for what could be causing this and would recommend seeing your doctor for further evaluation of the situation to see what they think is going on. Ask your doctor too if a consultation with a physical therapist could help as well such as by giving gentle exercises to do to see if that might be help.
