In the beginning of the net I have looked for porn and found it.
Since I have lost my wild hairs, I do not go into porn anymore.
I work a lot on my computer and have an very broad scoop of interest.
I have never, never seen a porn picture pop-up just like that. maybe you should have your computer exorcized. I can do it for you. No charge, just travel expenses. I do never stay in hotels of any chains but prefer the real thing. Same for the restaurants.
At your service.
edit: I have tried Steak and Cheese. The 19th page listed in Google uses the words Sexy Flash. You need to avoid that? How old are you? When was your last time (you went to the confessional)?
Ok I have clicked on Sexy Flash. Nothing. You have to install some software first. NO thanks.

you can try filters, but they don't work fully. if it's something you are actually struggling with then you will find a way to turn off the filter anyway. besides pop up blockers and whatnot if this is truly a struggle for you look at xxxchurch.com. they have designed a program which sets up accountability for you - it does not block websites you have visited but sends questionable websites to your chosen accountability partner. i also agree with the person above who said that looking at the people in porn as actual people can take the fantasty away. those are real people with real lives and struggles of their own - precious in God's eyes. Really, lust does not control you, and essentially you do have the choice. However, if it is an addiction you need God's power to deliver you from that and the realization that you can't do it on your own necessarily. There are also programs set up like sexaholics anonymous (like alcoholics or narcotics anonymous) which seem to help people immensely. i realize my answer to your question assumes a struggle with porn rather than just annoying pop ups that you want to get rid of, but i feel that if this was a matter of just pop ups, a filter would have been installed long ago. message me if you'd like some resources.

It's not a sin to "look". But, by your question, and you admitting that it's a problem with you, then it's a problem with your heart!
You cannot stop other people from doing whatever they will do. You can only stop what YOU will do with it.
One more time - pornography does not demean those who look at it but WHY and WHAT you do when you see it.
There's a reason Jesus speaks of it in his Sermon on the Mount - "and if your eye makes your stumble..... and if your hand makes you stumble.........." (Matt 5:29-30)
Eye ? Hand? What do you think He was talking about?

Pornography is very tempting and with the internet it's even more of a challenge. All I can say is that during my times Pornography was called as Blue Films and some people played them on their VCD players. I was strong enough to never see them because it did not appear right.
Put some strength into yourself and read more articles on spiritualism and it will surely help.

I'd turn off your computer and do some old fashioned research using books. It will always be here online. If you insist on using the internet then I guess you could try some program that blocks access to porn sites which hopefully should keep the sites popping up when you search.

look, there are medically doceumented positive effects to masturbation, including reduced risk of prostate cancer. Why would God design the male body with the assumption that you would regularly spill seed?
if stuff is just popping up, scan for adware/spyware, and put some firewalls and popup blockers in place. Afterwards, you only have yourself to blame for pornographic images on your computer.
Craig b: that verse commands you to cut off your had or to cut off your eye, lest the sins you commit with them land you in hell. Which conflicts with faith-based salvation.
