By his death, Jesus had condoned the collective sin of mankind till that time. After that time, your sins are condoned as long as you have faith in him and on no one else. If you fail to do that, you will be visited with the worst of a calamity.

This is a deep question. But in short, Jesus death paid for what Adam lost. A perfect life for a perfect life.
Adam was condemned to death. Lost eternal life for himself and his offspring. (Romans 5:12).
Jesus death DIDNT pay for our sins. But made it POSSIBLE to have our sins forgiven. We still have to be truly repentant. And pray to God for forgiveness. This not only shows God we are aware of our sins but also shows his that we rely on him.
Jesus death also opens the way for everlasting life again. (Revelation 21:3,4)

The fancy theological term is omniscience. God sees all and knows all.
Psalms 147
5Great is our Lord, and of great power: his understanding is infinite
Isaiah 46
9Remember the former things of old: for I am God, and there is none else; I am God, and there is none like me,
10Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure:

God exists outside of time. It's not a hard concept to grasp when you consider that time is relative to our planet (days, hours, weeks, months, etc).
Why is it so hard to hard to believe that He knew what you were are going to do already?
Am I "absent of my absolution" as you claim? Certainly not. I am painfully aware that each of my sins heaps suffering upon the cross. The difference between you and me is that I do not try to justify my mistakes as you do.

Salvation has always been by grace..since the beginning. However, the wages of sin is death. That means, not to sound patronizing but some people just don't get it, that when you sin against Gods laws you are choosing yourself over God. Can you keep yourself alive? So, eventually when the time comes for judgment and you have gone your whole life choosing yourself over God...your urges, your desires, your selfish disdain or perversion or whatever cross of sins it is that you bear...you have essentially chosen death because sin causes death, consequently. When you turn to God after living a life of sin, you are indeed putting those sins aside and repenting of them. Jesus paid the penalty for you so you wouldn't have to but its not a get out of hell free card. You have to sincerely shun your transgressions. Read Romans 7 & 8. Then you are giving your life to God since its His anyway. The struggle begins at that point. From the bondage of sin you have been set free..that means you are not doomed to destruction but have been perserved and redeemed for life...you are free. As if you committed murder and went before the judge...the judge can see your thoughts, your heart, your conscience...and so you say you are truely sorry and loath yourself for what you have done and in fact are sincerely deserving of death...if sincere, suddenly the judge steps in and says...the penalty for your crime is punishable by death...however, since you have seen your own soul for the destestable thing that it has become and would never commit this crime again..I will take your punishment for you...then He steps down and is taken away to die for you. Wouldn't you then love that judge and wish to honor Him for the sacrifice He made so you could have another shot at life...cuz in this life...no matter what we do..we all get caught in the end. Jesus's plan is sorta the turn yourself in confession of guilt and responsibility. You see it was never sin that screwed us up to begin with...it was how we dealt with it...Lemme esplain. With Adam and Eve there was one law..."eat not". You know the rest...except for maybe this little detail...did you notice that when called out to explain themselves they neither one confessed without blaming outside themselves...Eve blamed the serpant and Adam blamed Eve....even alluding to Gods culpability..."this woman you made me..." And yet, God, shed the blood of what had to be a pure animal to make a covering for their nakedness, allowed them to live and even prosper..but forbade them eternal life. Why? Cuz neither of them went to God and said.."I did this thing and I wished I had not...I repent of it...restore me and take this sin from me." If they had gone this way then God would have forgiven them, removed the sin and restored them back to their former innocence and ignorance. That is what you are doing now when you accept Christ's atonement. You are telling God you choose Him and His laws, His will and that you shun, dispise and hate the sins you struggle not to commit. That is when you begin to adhere to the commandments of God and embrace them. Just because you do not yet understand this concept does not give you call to assume that all persons of faith are presumtiously considering themselves absolved of all sins based soley on the blood of Christ. Any sin commited willingly and knowingly against God after the truth is recieved and understood...for those there remains no redemption.
Hebrews 10:25-27
25Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.
26For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,
27But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries.
No sin is unknown to Jesus...He knows every hair on your head and so He knows also all the choices you will make in your life time and keeps record. It is through Him, by Him and for Him that all things were created and you are His largest concern so of course...He knows. Your sins have been atoned for...all that is left for you to do is to desire that atonement. Love in Christ, ~J~

maybe god is so great that he has already seen and therefore forgiven you of your present sins and even forgiven the sins of those who are to come after us.
