Malt Scotch Whisky... Hogmanay was always the Scottish Winter Holiday rather than Christmas, although it probably is Christmas now.
Ditch the rather passe sparkling wine thing and treat yourself to a Dram.

Most people drink champagne,but that good stuff doesn't come cheap.
I stick with beer.
