if you take part of the truth from a whole truth, and make that part of the truth the whole truth, that truth becomes an un-truth.
i agree, if you're going to ascribe any power to the Bible, you should ascribe all power to it.

Homosexuality is a sin in basic terms like fornication, adultery, killing or any sin it rather is against God. what's there to no longer understand human beings? supply up with all this nonsense!! "the bible mentioned this and that." The bible is a instruction manual for human life and the non secular. one element that folk don’t say plenty is what takes place to you when you die. it quite is a extreme challenge!! as a follower of God this international isn't your very final trip spot. Sin will in no way have not everywhere in God’s provides. specific no you may desire to be judging or condemning it rather is God's call. yet as followers of Jesus we do have the duty to stand up for the fact. Sin is grimy and deadly and there are effects for that.

You are witnessing the death of a religion. The last time True Christians roamed the planet it was called the Dark Ages. People who call themselves Christians now have made up their own religion based on Christianity, but borrows heavily from secular ethics.
"If members of the early Christian church ever came into contact with any Christian living today, each side would, no doubt, condemn the other as heretical." [J. S. Burke, "Why Religion Persists"].

Not really; it's the only approach that makes any sense. The Bible has been tampered with and manipulated many times from its earliest inception to the present day. So, keep the parts that work and throw away the parts that clearly have been invented to frighten ignorant people, like the example you have chosen.

Ok quit whining about people and their knowledge of the Bible. I'm sick of getting preachings from little christian people who think they do no wrong because they beleive in something that they have no proof exists. Think about it... you so called christian. Have you EVER had a reason to beleive that god exists other than an upbringing that supported the beleif in god, and you trying to lie to yourself. You're not fooling anyone but yourself getting all worked up over the bible. We all know deep down inside that he doesn't exist, many are just too afraid to admit it.

While that certainly shows an ignorance of the Bible, it seems a tad more ignorant to take a quote from a fairy tale and use that to condemn your fellow man.

Some people look at the Bible like a plate of food. They pick some here, and there, but they never eat it all or clean their plate. They only take what they like.

But, how are you going to convince them, if they think your a religious nut?
I am not being funny here....do you really go around quoting the bible at every turn? Why would you put the question as "Do You HATE.....?" is it ok to hate others who do not share you views?

And what is the link between gay mariage and the bible ?
What I hate is when christians know the bible but don't know where it comes from, when they know the christian religion but don't understand it's true meaning, because they don't know from what it come...

Ya some liberals piss me of, and I'm Episcopalian, I fine with civil stuff, but when it comes to the Christian union of two people it should be sacred only between a man and women.
