I sometimes get these dreams that I'm ascending to heaven but then get cast down. I'm a very ambitious person and wish to be powerful one day. Could this be a sign of the next Anti-Christ. Would you like to be the one that controls the world for 7 years but go to hell upon death? There are people in Hell right now who are nothing and at least you would've lived and had power in life if you were the one. What do you think?

"for what doth it profit a man to gain the whole world and forfeit his soul?"

how on earth, after knowing the fate of this man, could anyone wish to partake?!

no thank you, i don't even want to glimpse into hell, much less risk going there just for a bit of power. real power comes in knowing God through His Son Jesus Christ.

the anti-christ may have his fifteen minutes. but consider this, the entire final book of the Bible is God declaring war on this man and his kingdom. every plague is at God's hand and will be poured out on this individual. trust me, you do NOT want to be this man. imagine the most evil man in existence, so evil that he almost seems good.

what is worse, a clock five minutes off? or a clock that doesn't work at all? the clock that doesn't work at all is right at least twice a day, but at least for the most, you can tell that it is clearly wrong. a clock five minutes wrong can cause you to miss an appointment/bus/plane/train/oppurtunity...

the lie that is closest to the truth is the most dangerous.

I keep getting told that I am. This is because I have freckles that forms 666's all over. I'm Jewish anyway and according to the Torah, Satan is akin to a prosecuting attorney. He works against those souls whom wish to enter the kingdom of the father. His role as created by the father is to keep out the trash. Christianity made him a "evil". The Torah states God made both good and evil. All are made by him, evil is a chosen path by man's own free will to do so. Satan as a fallen angle is ridiculous. As well as the concept of hell. This is a very old tool used to instill fear to enslave morons. If you don't have "sin" or demons in your head from hell, you won't have Christianity. Good ploy to ensure world wide revenue and power. We just never know, a visitor from a world far away that perhaps has a million or so years of technological knowledge with a specie of equal evolutionary age, just may appear one day for a visit. I'm sure you'll think its God. I can't fathom being able to understand this aliens power. To us it's miraculous. To him, simple mechanics.

yeah, still working on not subscribing to the theory that i am it. the dreams sound like sympathy for lucifer or an image from paradise lost. i can't control my life for seven seconds, seven days for the world is inconceivable, hell is a given in my afterlife (from what i hear). Power is over rated. I could say I controlled them for a moment, a day, an eternity but what difference does it make now, at the end. I'm dead (what ever that will mean), its done (or not). attractive and melancholy in the same breath.

Better to be a king in Hell than a prince in Heaven?

No...I've never wanted to be the Anti-Christ. I'm not sure I could live (even in Hell) knowing the blood of so many innocents would be on my head.

The book of I John is very clear. Anyone who rejects Christ has the spirit of antichrist.

As for that seven years nonsense, that's just not Biblical.
