I work with a man who has high cholesterol. He mentions it fairly often and is on a cholesterol lowering drug. The other night he said he had to stop eating at midnight so he could have his lipid panel drawn the next morning. Right before midnight he ate 4 or 5 minuature chocolate bars. The rest of the time his diet seems to consist mainly of fried chicken and pizza-once in a while he will eat 2 or 3 frozen dinners. Now he is complaining that his doctor told him he needs to get his cholesterol down because the medication is affecting his liver function. I though about saying something about his diet but held my tongue because he and his wife are both in healthcare, he already knows what's healthy.
Would you say something if he keeps mentioning it?

I would definitely, think of his health! It doesn't matter if he'll get mad or something! He'll appreciate it later on. If you see him eating foods he isn't supposed to, take them away from him. Don't think of his response or anything like that, think of his health.
