Do you think women who rape child/ren (boy/s and/or girl/s) shud be imprisoned (and not in a hospital) for the rest of their lives? If yes, then why r they getting only a few months of probation?

I haven't seen any of them getting probation. Where do you live? One 15 year old just got 60 years and everyone is complaining that it is too high.

No. Teenage boys don't get pregnant and don't suffer the types of serious trauma that girls do.

Moreover, in the case you cite the female pederast (she was not a pedophile) suffered from manic depression which is a strong mitigating circumstance.

I don't want to waste my tax dollars putting this woman in prison for life when she can get lithium and probation.

FYI: Not all women who engage in pederasty get light sentences. Mary Kay Laterno did a number of years in prison and married her teenage lover.

Chill out dude.

Depends on how young the "child" is. For example...A 16 year old boy in my opinion isnt a child. And I think a man who has sex with a 16 year old girl should get in more trouble than a women doing the same thing with a 16 year old boy. Its just different...life is full of double standards and being a man myself I dont think I can complain when one of those double standards dont go in my favor since most of them do. Women get free drinks at the bar and less punishment for crimes...deal with it.

UNDER THE LAW, THERE IS A THING CLASSED AS "LEGAL CAPACITY"
INSANITY CANNOT IN A LEGAL SENSE HAVE A CRIMINAL INTENT.
RULE OF M'NAUGHTEN'S CASE SETS THE STANDARDS FOR TESTING TO APPLY WEATHER A PERSON IS CAPABLE TO STAND TRIAL OR NOT.
ANOTHER USE OF DEFENSES IS THE "IRRESISTIBLE IMPULSE" KNOWS RIGHT FROM WRONG BUT WAS UNABLE TO CONTROL SELF.(HOW MANY TIMES HAVE WE ALL ASSERTED THAT FEMALES DO NOT THINK LIKE US? WELL? YOU JUST OPENED UP AN ISSUE THE COURTS HAVE BEEN DEBATING FOR YEARS, BECAUSE IT IS SAID TO BE SO?)
THAT HAS BEEN NOT ALWAYS A SUCCESSFUL TACTIC BUT HAS BEEN USED AND APPLIED IN SOME STATES.
THEN THERE ARE THE CHARGES OF RAPE, SEDUCTION, CARNAL KNOWLEDGE OR STATUTORY RAPE?
THEN ONE MUST WEIGH THE FACT OF MALA IN SE=(BAD IN THEMSELVES) VIOLATE MORES OF SOCIETY ADVERSE TO MALA PROHIBITA = (BAD BECAUSE PROHIBITED BY LAW.
THESE TWO CATEGORIES HELP DEFINE A CASE AS TO THE ISSUE OF INTENT?
AGAIN INTENT AND SANITY TO DIFFERENTIATE.

More details please....do you have a specific case that you are citing....?

On that note, somtimes judges and juries are idiots and do not match the crime to the time. All we can do is unleash a public outrage and vote those judges out.

for some reason the law seems to treat female pedophiles differently than they treat makle pedophiles. Very often they are referred for psychological counselling and when they say " oh, i was bad < i won't do it again" they get released into the community, regardless of the fact that most heterosexual female pedophiles " declare their love for" their victims and renew contact with them against court orders to not do so. and most lesbian pedophiles scream "discrimination against gays" when they get caught and the courts drop the charges to avoid political embarassment.
