I recently went to the salon and got my hair cut short, and she cut it so that it will grow out like this:

Well my hair is really thick and gets kinda poofy if it gets long, is there something like a shampoo or of that sort that I can relax it with?

You don't want to look like that, and you probably can't if you hair is thick but you could try to find a relaxing mouse. You should grow it out and use a curling mouse and let your thick hair curl, the girls love it.

Try conditioner without shampooing first. The oil from your oily scalp, along with the conditioner, should hold it in place. If that doesn't work...hire a dominatrix to give your hair a little "discipline". You know, show it who's boss.

go to a real beauty salon supply house and ask the clerk for a relaxer. My mom is a beautician and she told me the same thing and it worked.
Make sure it's real supply place. Not just a salon.

Next time ask the stylist to thin it when she cuts it. There are numerous anti frizz products available-one of them might help.

Have them thin it at the salon. It will make a huge difference.

i would suggest you use a motions perm (regular)...you may want to try a regular first and if it doesnt take good enough in 6 weeks try a super motions perm....you may want to go to a hair professionalist frist so your hair doesnt fall out from doing it wrong.
