So my ex and I have been on and off for the past year. I was really upset about this final break up but I am finally taking the steps to move forward and keep the past in the past. I have tried to not speak to him at all as this triggers old feelings. I went away on a little vacation two days ago and just got back today. He called me and said " I have something you want" and I thought it might be the $200 he owes me. I call and he says he has my dogs leash. I say I'll come get it sometime. Then he asks if I want to come over to have sex. I say with confidence, No. He then says "Oh I can't have sex with you anyways.." And I hung up before he could tell me why. He then texts me a pic of him grabbing a girls ***. And goes on to tell me about his new gf and how much better she is than me. I only write back positive responces, like good for you congrats. I am changing my number tomorrow AGAIN. But I'm just wondering, if he is so over me why does he still need to contact me???

He is trying to hurt you. Don't read his texts and don't answer. As long as you continue to talk to him, he will keep feeding off of it.

Tell the dog to keep the leash. I agree with some of the others, sounds like hes trying to make you jealous.
Just know that you are better off without him, and keep moving in the right direction of moving on and away from this guy. Good Luck to ya!

He's either not over you and trying to make you jealous. Or he's upset that you are over him and is trying to make you miserable in revenge.
Either way you're clearly better off without this guy. At this point I'd suggest you simply have nothing to do with the guy. Don't give him any opportunities to take these kinds of cheap shots. And if he persists, don't forget you can always try a restraining order.

You are lucky to be away from you if he plays such mind games with people! His pride got hurt and he wants you to be oh so jealous and humbled. I wish it were enough for him to hear you wish him well. He wants you to want him back so he could tell you how he's so over you. I don't even want to know what he tells himself that you are thinking! Deep down, he probably wants you back but he won't come crawling to you, he wants you to beg him. You might have to move away from him if that works. A restraining order could work. I hope this isn't for the rest of your life. He could be dangerous. Stupid and dangerous. Did you tell him not to contact you again? Sheesh!

He is not over you! He wants to hurt you by being childish and get one up on you. But sounds like your doing the right thing by being positive...that hurts him way more!

he's trying to make u jealous. talking to him is making it worse. go over and grab everything that he has of ur's and hand back anything of his back on make no contact from then on. my ex tried that last yr with me but it backfired at him. don't let him do it to u........ur better than that.
