Like "The Matrix," but without any hostile agents or bothersome artificial intelligences. Or do you expect the two to be pretty much the same thing?

Time in the matrix is relative. You can live countless lives of thousands of years condensed into one human life.

Yes, I'd rather go into my own virtual reality.

If Heaven is really what they say it is, I would be totally bored.
Besides, if heaven is like they say it is, hell, I'd get arrested by the heaven police and sent to their heaven prison.

hehe

I figure if there is a heaven, there would be no need or desire for such distractions that humans living out an earthly life would need. There'd be a contentedness. It would be a state of transcendence, which is the ultimate. And if that's what one would want to achieve through virtual reality as well, then why not choose what's real (in this hypothetical question)? Based on my perspective on what heaven would be like, I'd choose heaven.

I'd rather go to Heaven because a virtual reality experience could only allow you to experience things you can imagine. Heaven is unimaginable and the Lord is in total control. I'm sorry but i am sure that God has a much better imaginization than I do, so i'm gonna trust Him and what He has instore.

If it is the Christian heaven you speak about then I would rather go anywhere than there. I'd like to go there, but just to get a chance to try to talk Yahweh out of sending to eternal torment billions and billions of good people for thought crimes.

Heaven (If it exists...i dont know if it does)

If I got in there, I knew i earned it by being a good person. Whereas the Matrix world is just getting jacked in, not because i earned it.

Plus, after Heaven, I know ill be able to live life again (believe in reincarnation)

If you think that will be your choice, you are alreadly living in your own virtual reality! God says to "choose this day, Whom you will serve"...and "the fool, says in his heart there is no God!" Heaven is going to be nothing like eternal hell. Both are real places, waiting for real people. Where will you be? You have only now while you are here to make the choice.

Well, quite honestly, since I am a finite being with a finite mind, I would rather have Heaven, designed by an infinite being, since my fantasies would eventually run out in a couple of thousand years...
