There never was a time when there was no creation.

It (the self) is not born, and It does not die; nor is it ever that this One having been nonexistent becomes existent again. This One is birthless, eternal, undecaying, ancient; It is not killed when the body is killed.

As after rejecting (discarding) wornout clothes a man takes up other new ones (clothes),
likewise after rejecting wornout bodies the embodied one (soul) duly attains new ones.

Here I stand and if I shut my eyes, and try to conceive my existence, "I", "I", "I", what is the idea before me? The idea of a body. Am I, then, nothing but a combination of material substance? The Vedas declare, "No". I am a spirit living in a body. I am not the body. The body will die, but I shall not die. Here am I in this body; it will fall, but I shall go on living. I had also a past. The soul was not created, for creation means a combination, which means a certain future dissolution. If then the soul was created, it must die. Some are born happy, enjoy perfect health, with beautiful body, mental vigour and all wants supplied. Others are born miserable, some are without hands or feet, others again are idiots and only drag on a wretched existence. Why, if they are all created, why does a just and merciful God create one happy and another unhappy, why is He so partial? Nor would it mend matters in the least to hold that those who are miserable in this life will be happy in a future one. Why should a man be miserable even here in the reign of a just and merciful God?

Well then, the human soul is eternal and immortal, perfect and infinite, and death means only a change of centre from one body to another. The present is determined by our past actions and the future by the present. The soul will go on evolving up or reverting back from birth to birth and death to death

I would never want to be reincarnated. Its hard enough having to live as a human and we supposedly rule.
A.)Humans have already jacked up the earth why would i want to return here
B.) by that time i will have like 6 clones and
C.) you will be able to eat mixed produce that man makes like crapple-berry-cranberry apple and pleach-plums and peaches and taste like stuffing from a sofa.
D.)And the global warming- no way man!
E.)Plus God has already invited me to his party in heaven when Jesus returns and so I could live in a city where the streets are made of gold. I will have a place already made for me that is radical.

I Choose" E" and that's my final answer.

I think it's kind of obvious what happens when we die.

The brain and every component of our personality is defined by genes and environment. When a person suffers a brain injury, they are no longer responsible and some aspects of their "self" are injured.

When the cells die, we cease to exist in the same form. Our atoms are recycled by other life. It is like the time before we were born. Do you really believe there is a life beyond the death of the mind? Why?

when you die, you lose your senses, your thoughts, and your desires. I believe we will rest forever, it's called R.I.P. Some mistake that as nothing will happen, because I said lost of all senses. I call it a different life from the one on earth, not no life at all. i mean, who can comprehend loss of all bodily functions? This question is from the confused people living who have the natural fear of dying. What will happen to me when I die? If I'm dead, it wouldn't matter! I wouldn't care. If I had just died after the previous sentence it will prove my point, the idea of resting. I will take an eternal rest that I need, a rest from that attitude, and fear of thinking of my eventual death.

Anubis weighs your heart against the feather of Ma'at. If your heart is heavy because of evil and misdeeds, it will be devoured by Ammit. If your heart is light because of goodness and purity, you will be ushered into the afterlife by Osiris.

At least thats what the ancient egyptians believed. Truthfully, I don't know what happens when we die. All I know is that I believe in some sort of Divine Justice. Maybe Purgatory? lol

I believe if you Know Jesus Christ as you Lord and Savior then you will go into heaven. God said that no man will come to the Father except through the Son Jesus Christ. IF you do not accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior you choose to reject God and you choose to enter into hell to be eternally damned. Not only do I believe this, it is the Truth. The only truth. You may or may not like it , but it is still the truth.

After we die there will be a time of judgement where each one of us will look Jesus in the eye and if He knows you personaly you can go on to spend eternity will the Lord. But if he cannot vouch for you, then you get sent to an eternal isolation from God.

Its kinda illustrated, but I hope you get the point, you need a relationship with Christ.

I beieve this life is too short comparing to after life.

After we die, we go into grave period untill judgment day come, during this period your grave could be part of hell or heaven. The grave will be heaven to true believer and will be hell for hell nonbelievers and sinners.

After the there is judgement day, its very hard day. It will be easy for true believer and mercy for them, hoever nonbelievers will feel it as thousands of year, they will be terified and their heart is beating like crazy from terror in that day for them. Everybody will be accounted for everything. In this day everybody will know if he is going to hell or heaven.
After everybody is accounted, every body will walk on the "Sirat" a way over the hell. All nonbeliever will fall in it, and even believer may fall in it if they were sinners or didnt do the most important thing that almighty god asked them to do.

Then either heaven forever or hell forever.

I believe that if your a good person then your life force goes back into the atmosphere, but if you are evil, then your life force is doomed to stay where you died and will haunt the place. But if you were a good person but you had unfinished business then your life force wanders the Earth.
