Doesn't Genisis give the reason we wear clothes now? We ate the apple and became aware of our nakedness.

It doesn't. The bible just states that Adam and Eve became aware of their nakedness and was embarrassed. So they made clothes from leaves (or something like that). I'm pretty sure you don't have to wear clothes. It's just that people would probably think you were crazy if you didn't wear them.

Why are you interested to know? Do you really need an answer from the bible to tell you to wear clothes?

The Bible does not specifically say that we have to wear clothes, though Leviticus 20: 11 onward tells whose "nakedness" you may not "uncover". If everyone around you is naked, then you have not "uncovered" their nakedness, so no harm is done.
Islamics expect their women to cover themselves up completely. I think that it is not so much because their women are inveterate seducers as they seem to think, but because their men are not able control their carnal urges.

Alright, following that train of logic...where in the Bible does it say we have to walk on our feet and not our hands?
The Bible tells you how to get to Heaven and how to live a life that is pleasing to God, that is all. If you want a recipe for apple pie, don't go to the Bible. If you want to know about the planet Jupiter, don't go to the Bible. If you want to know how to have a better golf game, don't go to the Bible....alas I hope you get my point. =]

Well, God clothed Adam and Eve after they sinned in Gen.3 - that sends a pretty strong message. In Exodus and Leviticus, it talks about being seen naked as a shame (not talking about small children and their parents, married couples, etc.). Being naked in and of itself is not sinful, but being seen naked usually creates problems.

It says it early on by implication. The very first thing Eve discovered after eating the fruit was that she was naked. That might be considered the first sin, nakedness. OH MY GOD, NAKEDNESS. Spank my butt and send me to hell with the naked.
