I'm unsure as to how strict Florida driving laws are. This is your first ticket ever? It will be treated as a regular ticket. Regardless of your age, or how long you have been driving. Your next one will double, and you will lose your liscense for six months.

that probably depends on how the traffic cop wrote the citation. He might have been nice and wrote it for 15 over the speed limit (doubtful), or reckless driving (likely). I have no idea what the circumstances were but that kind of speed can even bring reckless endangerment charges under certain circumstances. You need to check florida statues on the matter. Even if you can keep the license, your car insurance is going to skyrocket. Live and learn and do not ever try something stupid like that again.

Depends on the department and what the ticket was written for. In AZ, doing 20 over the limit can land you in jail for a felony. You need to learn to slow down.

In Missouri, you would either have a permit or an intermediate license, and it would get suspended.

And 93 in a 55 does NOT "just happen." You made a choice and there are consequences to that decision.

Welcome to growing up. Be glad you didn't kill yourself or someone else.
