i'm not going to grow anymore.. and i'm 5'1

i reckon that because people say that jumping (basketball) too much will strain your knees, it'll make you shorter. I figured that.. perhaps running and pounding my legs too much on concerte may do the same...

THis is the kind of crap you hear from people who DON'T run. They have to have some excuse to justify their sedentarianism. Listen to people who do run, and you;ll be a lot smarter about running and its effects on the body.

At a relatively young age, barring any disease or other condition, your height is more about heredity than anything else. It's a good idea to remain well-hydrated at all times, since height does vary during the day due to the water sacs between the spinal vertibrae.

You can't grow shorter. Running will probably make you a little taller with the more lean muscle mass you'll accumulate.

i do not think running makes you shorter...it makes you skinnier but i am i runner and i am 6'1 and have not gotten shorter by running
