You being the oldest child in your family has nothing to do with it. You need to just make yourself available, guys will see that. Be flirty and polite. One big thing is be sure that you're not trying to hard. If you seem desperate, people will stay away. You'll be alright. Good luck.

The ethics over the decades have changed. Few decades ago, people didn't get boyfriends until they were 17-20yrs. You're not behind. The age that people get a bf will vary in large ways because you don't want to just pick up some guy, talk with him alot and say he's your bf. When you say you have a bf, you're in a relationship. Relationship requires commitment. I don't understand how 7th graders/12 year olds are ready for a serious commitment both emotionally and physically (such as a kiss).
You're not behind. If you're not comfortable in kissing your bf, then don't push yourself because it would just be an empty move. Some of your friends may be going a bit too sudden. If they move suddenly just so they can have a bf and kiss people, then it's an empty move, an empty start to something with false meaning and someday they'll loose interest in the person. One of the people involved would suffer the impact and then the after they're done with that person, they'll move on to someone else, keep making out with them, then dump them, then go on again until they realize that getting a bf or gf takes time, patience, and communication. It isn't until then they will start to make a serious move, and start a relationship with meaning and serious commitements (not just kissing someone so that they aren't "behind").

It may seem at your age the pressure is on. Trust me, all of that wont matter when your older. You are no where near behind in this!
If it makes you feel better, my first kiss was when I was 15. My first time I had sex was when was 22. No regrets!
Its cliche to say this, but time is almost everything, maybe if you have some friends in different schools, they can help introduce you to new people (boys!)
But dont rush into anything! Your still young!

First of all, you're not the far behind. Second, you need to get that short form writing out of you as soon as possible. It's affecting how others can understand you and you just make yourself not good enough.
Third, be yourself and don't be what you are not. Do you want what your friends did to be your inspiration instead? Do you think that having multiple partner is something to boast about?
Hold onto what you think is the best for yourself.

Being the oldest means that you aren't tainted by other siblings. Most likely, those other girls have older siblings that make out, so they just want to follow suit.
Being in 7th grade is far too young to do anything with a boy in my opinion. Are you sure you don't just want to do stuff with boys cause other girls do it?

Don't worry just try to talk to these guys nicely, and you'll see that they would want to be your friend. See, if your thinking that your friends have boyfriends because the guys talk to them first your wrong, sometimes the girl has to make the first move. Guys are shy especially at your age. So just be social and the guys will see how your cute.

i know it probably seems like your grown at that age and that you should have experienced all kinds of things, but don't worry your not behind at all and your still really young. most middle school and early high school relationships don't last anyways and aren't "real or serious" relationships. just take your time and don't rush into anything your not ready for. You'll soon realize as you get older there are alot of people who weren't as experienced as u though they were. Plus your not missing anything, guys are hotter in high school anyways ;) lol.

well.. the best way to find things out is the internet- so good job! lol
Basically, find out what you want to know...
like lets say you get a bf...now what? Do you want to JUST: kiss, hold hands, more??
Cuz basically its a good things you dont have diff bf every few seconds-- it looks really immature. So.. just find a cute guy, do a bit of flirting...and things will follow if your open to them, and if he is too...
and remeber, Google.com is an awsome site to look up things/techniques :P
best of luck to ya!

Uh, no.. You're not behind. I'm 14, in 7th grade. I made myself a commitment to not date until I'm in 12th grade. You're insane. I dislike how girls are like just "OHHH, I've never dated before and I'm 11!!". Really, you're still too young.
