Okay, I see that you like mask', or the movie. I personally thought it was hilarious myself.

Now to answer your question; sin is sin no matter what! Now if you happen to be a follower Jesus. Well then, your sin is already forgiven, however, it does not give you a license to go out and murder someone, and do it deliberately. God knows your heart, he knows your true motif.

Now if you were praying, and happen to be a true follower of Christ, you would not be in such a state to put you, or anybody else for that matter.

Now as far as praying is concerned, you can pray to God any which way you want;

Sitting

standing

Kneeling

Laying down

eyes open

eyes shut

Anyplace, anytime, anywhere.
As long as you are praying: that's what counts.

Well, you can pray with your eyes open while you drive so I am not sure what you are getting at? Of course, alcohol is not for the body and drunkedness is condemned in the body so that would be a greater sin. I guess if you are saying you are praying with your eyes closed while you are driving? Uhm, that would be very negligent and I guess it would be a sin if you knew that you were putting someone's life in danger. I think God gave us sense to use it!

God is only interested in the killing of another on purpose or with wrong intentions. If I am a serviceman and my President ordered us to go into an area and secure it for Peace purposes and I had to take a life, in most cases God even approves of a Military Person taking the life of another to protect his homeland.
Let me ask you this. If someone had broken into your parents home and you had possession of a gun and your mother, father or grandmother was being held and about to be murdered by a criminal, and you had it in your power to take the criminal's life before he took your loved ones' life. Would you cease the opportunity, or would you sit idly back and allow the crininal to take your loved ones' life away from you?

thought so.
God even tells us that we are to protect our homelands to the point of giving of our own lands. But according to the many coward I'm seeing in America lately, I'm sure even that will be at risk soon!
Blessings

Wow, this is really an interesting question.

I would have to say that I was distracted, in either case, either by praying or by drinking, and that it was my distraction (a human fault) that caused the accident.

Great question though, it's nice to see someone challenging my brain cells for a change! =]

If a person drives drunk and someone is killed, that's a crime. If a person is distracted while driving for whatever the reason, and someone is killed, that's a tragedy. Both are irresponsible and God will be their judge....Blessings!

I'd have to say it would be much, much worse in my opinion. Not that sin comes into it.

God does not allow killing people with cars dear. Check your bible : There are no car accidents .

Do keep in mind that God is a fictional character from bronze age middle eastern goat herders fairy tales so please drive carefully thanks :-)
