Blessed3. That is a nice thought but again it is a direct acknowledgment that you feel Jesus is the answer for everyone.
Not judging others is not a Christian idea from Jesus...that concept has been around since men began cooperating to survive....it has nothing to do with Jesus.

Beautiful mind....another perfect example of the Christian idea of knowing a truth the rest of us miss.

I believe millions of Buddhists, hindu, Muslim, Jewish, etc. are not wrong and there are many roads to the same place.

How dare you claim to be right and everyone else is "less right".

One thing you may all be right on is that you may have your own wing in heaven....the Christian wing. The rest of us get the pleasure of hanging around the rest of heaven!!! ha ha (LOL)

Personally, I do not call myself a Christian, I prefer Christian spiritualist. I do not practice my faith by forcing my belief on others or chastising people, instead I look for opportunities to learn from others and show kindness to others. I don't care if people don't like my beliefs, share my beliefs, or even know my beliefs. I think that it's how you treat others that sums up your person.

And, I promise I'll actually answer the question, by using each day as an opportunity to learn I place myself in the humble status of a student. I could never "feel more special" than someone who has opposing beliefs. Everyone was raised differently and I believe that God judges us on our personal beliefs. After all, it isn't like the average Christian has spoken to God personally knows what's right or wrong in our religion.

Being a true Christian is about being humble, just keep that in mind.

I think at one point Christians do see them selves as a little special. Think of it this way, when one finds this great and powerful God who loves us SO much He gave His Son for us, then it goes to our heads. But what we have not yet realized is He loves everyone the same, we just ha vent looked that far ahead. And in all fairness, we, even before Christ looked down on people, or we would have never called someone an idiot, or stupid or pass judgment of any kind on anyone. The different between Christians and non believers is God corrects us and we learn from it, but those who do not choose to follow the righteousness of God follow their own beliefs, and they do not allow themselves to be taught such things as one person is no better than another, and this is because their pride still gets the best of them.

As a Christian, I do not feel that I am more special than anyone else. Part of my beliefs is that God loves all people, even those who do terrible things.

Some Christians believe in a doctrine called "predestination" which, in its extreme form, states that some people are chosen by God to be saved, and others are not. I suppose that some who follow this belief might see themselves as very special. I don't follow that belief.

I do think that it's possible that I see myself as "more special" than you see yourself as. Of course, I don't know how special you see yourself. But I believe that God loves me (and you!). If you believe yourself to be a pure accident of an uncaring universe, then you might not consider yourself (or me) to be at all special. That may turn out to be the biggest difference between us on this topic.

There's one more thing that I can't help but mention. It is often said that if everyone is special, no one is. I suppose that depends on how you define "special". Being a Christian does make me different from an atheist. I also believe that being a Christian is "better" than being a atheist. But that doesn't make me "more special" than you.

There is a difference between feeling ''special'' and ''lucky''. For me, I feel lucky and great that I see the truth. I feel good because I know of God's existence and that I want to embrace it. We are all ''man'' and it will always be that way. We are no better than the next person. However, just because some of us are on higher levels spiritually than others, doesnt mean that the other person cant be where you are or even further ahead. We are all one and need to help one another for the greater good. I dont use my wisdom or relationship with God to hurt others nor do I use it to put myself on a pedalstool, I use it to strengthen others...we should ALL ''share'' great things with eachother...or at least have the desire to.

Once you start believing you are better than anyone, there is a problem. As a Christian I do not feel better than anyone, i experience the same trials and tribulations as anyone else. But as a Christian I have Faith that as long as I live according to the Word of God and love everyone I will have the strength to over come everything. But, special because he love me? He loves you too!

As a non-christian, do you feel more special than a Christian? The term is relative in that we as Christians are more special to the God who is responsible for our lives. So since you don't believe in God, I guess you don't see us as special.
Let me put it another way. Do you have any Christian friends? IF you do , do you feel any different or less than a person when you're around them of playing together?

Thought so!

Not special but different!.

We are of different species,

We are both natural and spiritual whereas, you are just natural or carnal

Our DNA is From HIM who created us; yours from fallen Adam the first Man ; we, the believers are from the last Adam and The Second MAN-Christ Jesus

So, there you have it !. You can called us special if you want but we know we are just different! We also belong to the Kingdom of Heaven even while we are living in this present earthly world

Christianity is not about how special humans are, but about glorifying God. And everyone has a choice about whether to serve God or live their own life, so it's not like we feel that we were "chosen" at birth or anything.

No i don't feel more special ~ but i do know how *special* i am to God b/c i know Him ~ and those who don't know Him don't understand His love for them..
I believe we are all God's children separated from Him at the 'fall' of man. He gave us a way to be reconciled back to Him through His son Jesus Christ ~ Christians are aware of this sacrifice ~ others are not ~ but it's God's will none will perish. but come to believe in His Son..

*Blessings*
