Stovetop.
For some reason, I really prefer Stovetop over Microwave. I mean the micro comes in handy with hot pockets and microwavable pizzas.. but I prefer heating my soups, sauces, and other things on the stovetop.. they just taste better that way!

Actually on the stove is way faster.
I've tried the microwave several time & it just don't heat evenly. By the time you have to keep stiring it up,it would then be done on the stove, with a nice even temp throughout the soup. While you are opening up the can of soup, turn on the burner .It will then be hot.& you will have a head start on your soup. (unless you have a gas stove)
