i wanna him to tell me to my face what he told me on the phone the day before xmas,i'm still pissed off about it or should i just blow it off and be glad another bum is out of my life

Don't give him the satisfaction or inflated ego by confronting him. Try to find ways to occupy your time...or if you really need to get your feelings out...write a letter to him telling exactly how you feel about him and what you think of his immature, stupid, and insensitive behind. DON'T SEND!!! Just keep it to look back on...

Him telling you to your face is not going to make it any better. He's probably a cheap bastard that did want to buy you a holiday gift and therefore you are better off without him and should just move on. No good will come of confronting him. Take solice in the fact that he called you at all to break it off.

What would that accomplish? He didn't want to tell you to your face, that's why he did it over the phone. If you try to make him do it to your face, maybe he'll say it again, maybe he won't. But it won't change the fact that you've been dumped.
There's really nothing you can do but gather up your receipts and return his gifts.

My ex-boyfriend also broke up with me on the phone. If I were you I would try and get him to say it in person while looking into your eyes.
