A few years ago, my 12 year old cousin (a boy) was sexually molested by an adault male. Since then, my cousin has sexually molested his two younger brothers, younger family friends, and young boys at his school. My aunt is completely detatched from the boy, is in denial, and refuses to take him or pay for therapy. She continues to let the child share a room with the younger brothers and go to friends houses without warning the parents. I'm sick to my stomache and don't know what to do to help this sick child. I am open to any advice. Thank you.

Social services was called after the school incident, and the child was required to attend therapy, but the mother says it's too expensive and can't afford to send him. Also, the only reason I haven't yet tried to contact social services is because I have no proof, only what I have heard from other family members, but this is by no means just hearsay.

Perhaps you can call social services and ask their opinion on the matter. This is so not good. This boy so needs help and if the aunt is going to do nothing about it, she needs help too. I believe the authorities just might have to get involved. This is serious and should not be ignored. You could even talk to a police officer about it and ask his opinion. I'm sorry, nothing like being in a situation like this and not know what to do. I pray that something can be done, if nothing is done, there is only a bad outcome to all of this. Hugs.

Call social services where he lives. The younger boys need to be protected. Why has the school not called if he has done this to other boys at school?

If your an adult tell her either she gets help for her son or you will report her to the child-welfare-bureau. She is endangering not only her child but the children of others. This 12 yrd old needs help badly. If she does not get help fast this child will grown up bing a pedifile. Act on this asap.

I know u dont want to but u have to turn this in to authorities. Unfortunatley at his age the punishment might be rough but it will help him in the long run... he needs cousling and love.. his mother def needs to acknowledge this. Its not right for her to allow this at all.. if someone does not do something then someone else parents will and he will be ruined for life and end up in prison. and will be listed as a sex offender forever..

sounds like your aunt needs help as does your cousin and everyone around him.........I think if what you say is true then you should do something......contact the necessary authorities, which i know is a very difficult thing to do but I would say it needs to be done!

how about notifying the authorities, for god's how dare you allow this to continue to go on without reporting it, you are a party to this cover up and allowing this young man to ruin other children's lives, it is time you started saving children instead of condoning this type of behavior, she may be in denial but what is your excuse for not reporting this to protective services and allowing this child to continue to ruin more and more lives, this kid needs some serious help and needs to be kept away from other children in a locked facility as no one seems to have the backbone to stop him, what are you waiting for him to finally kill one of these kids, SHAME ON YOU , SHAME ON HIS MOTHER TOO AND ANYONE ELSE INVOLVED FOR ALLOWING THIS TO GO ON, YOU NEED TO GET ON THE PHONE LIKE YESTERDAY, AND CALL AND REPORT WHAT HAS HAPPENED TO ALL OF THESE OTHER CHILDREN SO THEY CAN GET SOME HELP AND QUIT WORRYING ABOUT WHAT SHE IS GOING TO THINK OF YOU WHILE YOU ARE SITTING AROUND WITH YOUR FINGER UP YOUR AZZ AND MORE AND MORE CHILDREN ARE BEING MOLESTED BY THIS CHILD MOLESTER, YOU AND HIS MOTHER BOTH BELONG IN A JAIL CELL NEXT TO HIM FOR ALLOWING HIM TO RUIN OTHER CHILDREN'S LIVES
