omg.i was about to buy my dwarf hamster when...?

my dad said, if i buy one more pet, hed give my 2 dogs away.omfg.ughh i hate him.and i had done sooooo much research for that tiny thing!!im soo pissed off at him




so how can i convince that i should get it!???I TOLD him that theyr quiet,and dont bite lol

idk try to give me lies that he would belive!idc!anything that he will belive so he can get it for me.!i even offered to buy it all my self, food,cage,bedding.everything!!

im even starting to anoy him, i even called him while he was at work .
he seriously pissed me off.
and he KNOWS i can take care of ANY pet.in my whole life, ive had way over 100 pets durring my whole life sinse i was born i mean :] (13 years).and he said,i cant have not even an ant omfg.damb ***** he knows that i can take care of it, he just wont admit it.!!

he KNOWS how much i want it.he knows i put in in my xmas list!
he just wont admit i can handle it, just because i can buy everything for it ugh

yes i know, i asked him like 3 time, why wont you let me.and he said becaus i said so.omfg wtf??

hes totaly not stresst about holidays, he just gave every one 50 dollars.




no.ive had ust 2 ducks, alot of those little turtles, 20 fish,a cat,and aloot of birdies, rabits,um,lizards,all this kind of stuff.but i never had them all together.i always only had 2 pets at a time no mor.not like a freakin farm!

i know exactly what you are talking about! we have 5 guinea pigs and 3 hammys and my dad won't let me get a little hammy there are 4 kind and my brothers each have 2 pets and i have 1 GEEZE i am so mad!


to convince him to let you get one say something like " hows my favorite dad in the world i was wondering if i could please get a hamster i will buy it buy food, and a cage and you won't even know it is there i will even name it after you! (but not really unless you want to) and say if you really really won't let me i will never talk to you again! so plz plz can i get one! (you dont have to say the nvr tlk 2 him again part)"

All that begging and whining will so not get you the hamster. Believe me, I have a 13 year old and nothing annoys me more than all that begging and whining. She never gets her way with all that junk.
Try being calm, acting like you can think about anyone but yourself, and find out his reasons for not wanting you to have this pet. Once you know his reasons maybe you can CALMLY, and without whining and begging, talk to him about it.
BTW, there is no way you have a 4.00 GPA with the spelling and grammar you use. You must be in 6th or 7th grade, pleanty old enough to be better educated. Maybe his concern is you are focusing way too much of your energy on new pets and not nearly enough on your education.

You need to convince him your not going to let it stench up the place, or cut into your school or such. make a fake contract (fake as in...who's going to buy a real one? treat it as it's real) if you have to, dedicating you will care for it or he can/will get rid of it. It will 'make' you care for it, because obviously if you know you don't you'll have it taken away.
start doing extra chores, to prove how badly you want it and maybe he will come through.
and if you hate him, he is not getting you one because you are being mean to him /sort of/.
calm down and have a talk with him and say your sorry but you'll make a commitment and express how bad you really want it instead of calling him on the phone to be annoying on prupose. face to face is better. i don't meen to sound mean.

slinkies - a Hamsters average life span is only 2-3 years. vet bills arn't really a big thing with hamsters.
but yeah you should chip in on monthly food cost.
and very good point, slinkies, with already having over 100 pets at her age.
unless you had a bunch of chickens and fish or something, going through 100 pets might make him think you arn't take good care of them. but i don't know your lifestyle.

that's no longer person-friendly to inform the age of an person hamster. If he has bluish or whitish finding eyes, he's previous. examine the water bottle to make beneficial that's working. in specific situations the ball bearing will create a vacuum seal, and the hamster won't have the skill to get water out of it. he's probably eating at night once you do no longer see it. they're nocturnal animals.

I'm sorry, but you sound like a spoiled brat. Your dad said NO, end of story. Has it ever occurred to you that he, being MUCH older, might know better? He HAS to teach you that no means no -- it's his JOB.

Be happy with what you have for a change. Leave the poor man alone!

In the meantime, start acting like a mature teenager, not a spoiled kid. Do your chores WITHOUT being asked. Get good grades in school. Don't fight or argue with him about everything. Take EXCELLENT care of the pets you do have. Eventually he'll see that you have grown up and he might relent.

But I don't know why I bothered to type all this out -- you'll never finish reading it and you WON'T agree... {{sigh}}

OMG, over 100 pets in 13 years? That's like 8 pets a year!
Maybe he's sick of pets! lol

Give it a week, the holidays are hardly even over, he's probably just stressed out.

i agree you sound very spoiled. when you are a big girl and living by yourself, then you can have a hamster. i want a cat but cannot have one, it will not kill you!!! gosh be happy with the billions or pets you have already had! how come you lost so many pets that you had to keep getting more?
and do not follow the suggestion of manipulation. only a huge BRAT would do that. do you want to be manipulative, or to learn to be a responsible person who knows restraint?

All this "annoying your dad" stuff is not going to work, stop being a brat and convince him your responsible for another animal. Annoying your dad will just convince him that your less responsible for one. Do whatever chores your dad tells you to do, it will probably take a month or two. But if your serious about getting one, YOU CAN WAIT! By the way, respect your dad!

I have a goldfish 3 hamsters and a very curious cat.
My cat got use to the fact that she was not going to touch the other pets after a while.
