Nothing's wrong with drinking alcohol. My church serves wine every Sunday at Communion, and there's no prohibition against alcohol. The Scriptural warnings are against drunkenness, not against consuming alcohol with meals or at social gatherings. My parents were devoutly religious, and drank wine with meals.

drinking isn't the problem, but getting drunk is. Like, wasn't Jesus' first miracle turning water into wine? So drinking is fine, but Noah's sin was getting drunk. Or was it Moses? I don't know, I'm only 15

It's alright to drink alcohol, you just should not be a glutton. And that applies to most anything. It's strange how people come to wrong assumptions just because of how 'some' people are. Read the Bible, it's quite enlightening.

well, in the quest for a pure life, alcohol is considered a luxury, and often given up during times of self-abasement. When you give up alcohol, (or tobacco, or sugar, or caffeine) even for a while, then you return to them, you feel the effect these things have on your body. It is not wrong generally, but for some people it IS wrong. It's bad for their bodies and for their souls.

Nothing. You shouldn't drink to excess, make yourself a drunk and place alcohol at a higher place than God is.
If you can't handle stopping before you get drunk, then you shouldn't drink. If you can drink a few drinks and stop, then you're fine.
God wants your HEART. He is interested in motivations.

Yacob's right. Even Jesus' first miracle was turning water into wine! The Bible doesn't condemn drinking. It condemns drunkenness.

As long as it's a sip and you don't get drunk, I think that it's perfectly fine. (Since when you're drunk, you make stupid choices.)
It's perfectly healthy to have a little wine here and there.

Nothing's wrong with it, as long as you don't end up intoxicated. Even in Biblical times, wine was consumed.
