The question I need answered is, are you fun to party with? If the answer is yes, you should stay and spread happiness. The next step can always be taken but you can only truly party for a short and blissful time. I hope you make the right choice!

Hello Matthew!
You are an interesting chap. You are having too much fun here to quit! There are important reasons for you to keep up what you are doing. The level of freedom, growth, and happiness you are experiencing is phenomenal! You can't do all these things as some sort of disembodied spirit.
You have your blinders on right now, so you get to experience a very personal drama that is unfolding as you read this post. A part of you at a very deep level knows this too.
Nay, don't take the step. Just keep hanging out with us earth guys!
BRAVO!!!!

It's not what you think, dude...
I've been enlightened for two years now and let me tell you, it doesn't stop!
You just go on to the next phase...
Plus! You don't materially disappear! You just have a deep, abiding understanding of people and things that make you the epitome of objectivity and pure love.
The most difficult part of this enlightened existence is knowing how unenlightened many people are and you just want to convey to them the rightness of higher living, but they look at you like you are from Pluto or something.
You will soon realize that they are flatly incapable of comprehending some things.
All you can do is show them baby-steps and plant some seeds and perhaps find others who are likeminded.

Actually, you were sent here by fortuitous karma which brought you around. Thus it is written at YA/R&S, a person one step away from enlightenment shall appear from the east (or west depending on where you are located), and he, needing the assistance of the YARS group shall, before those congregated, bend over for one last and final boot.
Bend to the will of the unenlightened.

Don't kill yourself. Watch some TV or listen to some music. Go to sleep in your nice comfy bed, on the couch or wherever. Wake up and make yerself a spot o' tea in the morning and come alive with a new attitude. It's all I have to say and maybe we'll meet face to face someday.

I think you should stick around.
Besides, the truly enlightened soul knows that the separation between "you" and "I" is an illusory distinction - that we are all one. So no one soul can become enlightened unless it takes the rest of us with it. :)

If you were really that close to enlightenment, you
would not be asking this question. You probably wouldn't
be using a computer, either. You'd be sitting in a rock
garden meditating.
This question is obviously fake.

Just because you think you are ready to go does not mean God is ready to take you. Every hair on your head is numbered and only God knows when that number is up. You say you are ready to take the step, how do you know it won't be a leap you will have to take.

Hey, you can have enlightenment whenever you want, but you can only have us for a few years. Factor that into your decision.
