If someone offers condolences, it's always appropriate to say, "Thank you" and let it go at that. If they want to say more you can respond to what they say if you wish, but 'thank you' is always sufficient if you don't feel up to going beyond that.

Thank you is sufficient. If you want to add more, you can say, 'you're very kind'.

I would just tell them thank you. Nothing else is needed.
