Sure it says it, but who is speaking, who is it refering to and what is the context that Jesus said it in?

I put the scripture you are talking about down below. Notice that the word "gods" is printed with a small "g". Whenever you see that, know that the Bible is not describing the true God, but a false god, an idol, or a man or demon pretending to be a god.

Read in context, you see it says, "You will die like men". Showing that God is the ultimate, the one with the power.

So my answer is no, I am not, nor will I ever be a "God". God is God. There is no other like Him, he alone is God.

Psalm 82

1God standeth in the congregation of the mighty; he judgeth among the gods.

2How long will ye judge unjustly, and accept the persons of the wicked? Selah.

3Defend the poor and fatherless: do justice to the afflicted and needy.

4Deliver the poor and needy: rid them out of the hand of the wicked.

5They know not, neither will they understand; they walk on in darkness: all the foundations of the earth are out of course.

6I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High.

7But ye shall die like men, and fall like one of the princes.

8Arise, O God, judge the earth: for thou shalt inherit all nations.

Yes, this is true, with a small 'g'. It says so in Psalms and Jesus quotes this.

Well I don't have a book. But God is in me, yes. I am a direct extension of God, yes. But I am not God in totality any more than my toenail could claim to be me. It is part of me, it derives life from me, etc., but it is not me.

God. His name is God. Why would you be afraid to say the name of a god that is supposed to love you? Are all of your beliefs motivated by fear?

Yes. You are correct.

Yes of course, if God says so, then it is so.

But how it can be so; only God Himself can show your the way!

Do you get that?

What is written in some book is:

Thou shalt have NO OTHER GODS BEFORE me.

Therefore, you ought to be an ATHEIST.
