since when does "coming for a better life" include getting pregnant at such an early age months after ILLEGALLY arriving in a country where you are clearly not welcome??
so here's the thing: i am still in school, and throughout my high school years, i have seen many, newly arriving teen girls who are illegal immigrants (dont give me that garbage of "how do you know"...please, they dont even speak English!!) and they have gotten pregnant within months of arriving here. not only newly arrived illegals, but also ones that have been here for a while now.... and i see them getting all the benefits to the point where having a baby no longer greatly impacts their life and their responsibilities....heck, the school even provives free daycare for their babies, and countless other things. i should know, i live in an area where its a sanctuary for such people!
what is going on with the trend here....since when is all this part of "getting a better life"??

Where is the trend going? It's going to divide the U.S. into two factions.
We should never have let our government look the other way with regard to illegal entry.
If the 14th Amendment is respected as to intent (the Congressional Globe, 39th Congress is clear on this) no child born to an illegal alien will be granted birthright citizenship.
If the courts continue to confuse the issue, then we'll need to make illegal entry a solid basis for unfit parenting and send in CPS (Child Protective Services) to take the child away and put it up for adoption...as well as charge the parents with several counts of criminal neglect to a child(ren).
To reward them as our government is doing is beyond insane. There is no more charity in it than in giving the most flammable house on the block - and most likely set ablaze intentionally - priority for firefighting services.

Why would you ask someone to answer your question and then label them pro? You say you've gotten no real answer, rational explanations and your not surprised. I'm not surprised either considering you haven't given any information to work with. Your post lacks what is needed to answer the following;
What do you include in "coming for a better life", you are clear that pregnancy and being in a country that doesn't welcome them is not.
Personally I feel if you know are not wanted how can you believe that your coming for a better life.
How about a school name or name of a program that gives all these benefits? Name a town at least, then someone might be able to research how and why these programs run. A simple phone call might get answers to whether their tax funded or contribution - volunteered supported.
What about some type of number data, statistics, demographics for some of these illegal immigrants in your school, school daycare programs, or the benefits and countless other things you vaguely refer to.
You can supply the any missing data yourself if you research into it or maybe it was easier to post a complaint and let others explain it to you. Please remember that any data researched and supplied by yourself or by established information will always find someone here who tries to discredit it.

Uh, illegal nanny, are you saying that in Hispanic culture, it's acceptable for Children to have children or to become dependent on public support and mooch from the hard working. My feeling is that it's shameful for a Hispanic man to not be able to take care of their own kid. A man who can't take care of the woman he loves and the kid that he bare is no man.
It's not Hispanic culture. They believe there are only two types of females. A lady and a prostitute, unless times has changed over there. I do see some single mother immigrants but I see alot more of the teenage mothers among Hispanics that are born here. I beleive it's caused by a fusion of several things. People pick and choose from Mexican culture, American culture and the culture from living in the Ghetto. Unfortunately when people pick and choose from various culture , they don't always pick the right things. Traditional culture works best because time has eliminated part of the culture that is counter-productive, but when people are allowed to pick out how they should behave, they pick what is best for them at the moment.

I suppose if you live in a third world country and come to Britain you will do anything to stay and not care about how it afects the residents of that country the "I'm all right Jack and blow everyone else " applies.
You are young enough to make a difference why not read up on the political parties policies and get yourself involved in order to turn the country into a decent and fair place to live most of Britain would welcome you.

The "better life" is instant citizenship for their child, and a path toward citizenship for both the parents and extended family, as well as a lifetime of welfare benefits. With middle-class American taxpaying citizens picking up the tab.

Under EMTALA, any doctor or hospital that refuses to treat an "emergency" case is subject to a $50,000 fine. Between 1994 and 2003, the mandated costs of caring for illegals forced 84 of California's hospitals to shut down.

Many reasons, the major ones being.
They come from a culture that forbids birth control on religious grounds, and a man is judge on how many children he can sire, plus female children being legal and fair sexual targets for men to exploit.
Add to that the belief that if they have a child in the US, they won't be deported because the child is a US citizen.
And lastly, they will get a welfare check for each child. We make it pretty darn good for them compared to the life they leave behind in Mexico.

well explain this one for me...
I live in the UK and my daughters go to a Roman Catholic primary School and we now have Indian (from India) children in our school, don't get me wrong I'm NOT a racist but Indians are not of R/C religion!!
If you have a dot on your head or are not white (as in English) you get every single benefit given to you and when an English person claims a benefit they get either very little or non at all.
This really pi**es me off

This is happening in the UK also. The general public have no say in what happens or who is allowed to stay in our country.

If you look for the bad in life, you will always find the bad. Be thankful that you live in this country. I know sometimes it hard to do because of the things you see. You should really be worried about the wasteful spending and this lie of a war called IRAQ over somebody bringing new life into the world. To much life is being taken out of this world because of this LIE!!!
On a side not, if this so called illegal is going to school after having a child. Then my hat is off to that young lady. Its said that after the 3rd gen in this country that the child speaks only english.
It must be nice to be the 10th or 30th generation in this country. GOD forbid you had to enter this country illegally. Oh wait, unless your full blood Indian, you did.
